3. How optional consent will work
If non-essential analytics or other optional technologies are introduced, they will not load before consent. The preference interface will use clear language, no pre-ticked boxes and equally prominent “accept” and “reject” choices. A user will be able to change or withdraw the choice through the cookie-settings control.
4. Privacy-conscious analytics
Any future analytics proposal must be assessed for purpose, data minimisation, retention, international transfers and whether a less intrusive option can provide the necessary information. Advertising trackers are not part of the current design.
5. Browser controls
Browsers can block or delete cookies. Blocking a strictly necessary technology may affect site delivery or security. The cookie-settings control in the footer shows the categories currently in use.
